Fromm nothing to something

While listening to Katy Perry’s Roar, I was wondering on what my next post should be and what did I come up with?

Wanna guess?

Nothing!

Which got me thinking, why don’t I write something about nothing.

Kinda weird right?

That’s what I thought, until I remembered a passage from a book by one of my favorite authors Anatole Broyard.

In Kafka was the Rage,  Broyard mentions about Ecric Fromm a lecturer at that time, taught the psychology of American culture at the New School of Social Research in Greenwich Village. Fromm explains about pointlessness which then led me to Heidegger’s theory on Nothingness which kind of confused me a bit and I finally settled with something to write.

You know what they say, Something is better than nothing.
